Koval Mural is a nationwide, full-service mural agency specializing in hand-painted environments that bring brand stories to life. Every project is personally overseen by founder and creative director Dan Koval, from the initial concept and custom design through production and final execution. He remains closely involved throughout the process, directing a trusted network of professional muralists and often working alongside the agency’s artists on-site.
With the ability to coordinate projects across multiple locations and markets, Koval Mural provides the creative vision, skilled labor and project management required to execute work at any scale. Regardless of location or scope, every mural is held to the same standard of originality, craftsmanship and attention to detail—and is always done by hand.

The Human Touch
Dan Koval is a self-taught muralist and the founder and creative director of Koval Mural. Since founding the company in 2017, he has built his practice around a simple philosophy: the strongest murals do not tell the artist’s story—they reveal the story of the client and the space.
Known for his signature weathered finishes, hand-painted detail and ability to create work that feels inseparable from its surroundings, Dan approaches every mural as a one-of-one piece. Each composition is developed specifically for its location, drawing from the architecture, identity and history behind it to create something that could belong nowhere else.
Dan continues to personally design and execute a limited number of select commissions. Working directly with him is reserved for select projects and represents the highest expression of the Koval aesthetic.
